ArticlesMaking a feature film is a hard journey, you have to keep the aim in mind but approach it with one step after another. By trying to rush things they mostly also seem rushed in the end, so it is important to handle all the obstacles in the way carefully and don´t loose the focus on our goal.
As for our movie we have made some good process, the concept is nearly finished and we met very important and interesting people. One of the most important changes is that we decided to develop the script together with a professional screenplaywriter, and so far we are in contact with a quite famous austrian screenplaywriter and director, lets see how everything develops.
We also decided that i will direct the movie together with a famous nigerian director, i won´t publish any of the names yet since we are in a very early phase of the movie.
By talking about meeting interesting people, together with David Wurawa i am currently working on another short movie. We are right in the middle of developing the screenplay, and so far the characters and the story are really promising.
One might ask why to shoot another short movie and not focus on the feature film, well, there are some reasons: At first the feature film is in an very early stage and there is time to do another short. We also want to work together as a team another time in a much smaller scale, so we get to know our habits and approaches better, and last but not least: the topic the movie will be about needs to be addressed.
So far so good, i´ll keep you updated on the progress…
