My good friend and colleague Joana Adesuwa Reiterer just finished her latest project: together with the authors Corinna Milborn and Mary Kreutzer she wrote the book Ware Frau - Auf den Spuren moderner Sklaverei von Afrika nach Europa (vaguely translated: Product Woman - Tracing Modern Slavery from Africa to Europe).

Since my last movie Greener Pastures that premiered a year ago i am kind of involved with the topic of human trafficking. Especially the situation here in Austria is unbelievable, the government argues about smoking prohibition in bars and on our streets human beeings have to sell their body because they literally don´t have any other choice.

I highly recommend reading the book, i´ve been at the book presentation yesterday and i hope that this book will raise the awareness of the people. And just in case you wonder where to get the book, here is the Amazon link: Amazon.de: Ware Frau

Another month passed, i didn´t blog a lot since i´ve been abroad for some time, hopefully April will be better. Anyway, here my monthly list of read-worthy articles…
